             I started DataLink 2000, Inc. in 1998 after the split of a previous company in which I was part owner.  I managed the data network integration division of that company and we provided consulting services, network infrastructure design, and hardware/software sales and service.

             At DataLink 2000, Inc. our goal is to provide quality data solutions for business process automation.  We focus on LAN/WAN consulting and management and provide hardware/software solutions to solve your business process needs.  We allow you, the business owner, to concentrate on the core functions of your business that make you money.  We feel, and like to say that, “we provide solutions, not just sell you a product”.  Although, we do sell just about all hardware and software products at very competitive prices, our ultimate goal is to make your data systems work for you no matter where you purchased them.

             There is an area that should be of concern to all business owners that use a data management system and that is the  area of data security.  I am talking about viruses, spyware/adware, and data backups.  These infections and lack of backup/disaster plan can cost a business owner a great deal of money in down-time, lost data, stress and can potentially devastate a company.  I have made it my goal to educate my clients in these areas and to make their networks as secure as they will allow me.  I hope that you will use this web site to learn more about security from external (Internet) as well as internal (user) threats.  I hope to give you unbiased opinions on security issues and solutions that will keep your networks safe without breaking your bank account.

             My philosophy is that we are all in business to make money or we would not be doing it.  If I can help you to make money by automating some of your business processes and minimize your downtime, then the money that you pay me is just a very small cost of doing business.
